​Helen is an experienced commercial and IT lawyer who specialises in non-contentious IT, IP and commercial matters, including data protection, IT procurement contracts and advising software houses. She deals with the procurement of hardware, software licensing, software as a service, software development and IT consultancy arrangements. She also advises on commercial contracts, including supply and distribution agreements, and on intellectual property assignment and licensing.
 
Helen has a particular interest in the use and exploitation of data, and the value this can add to businesses. She advises on issues such as international data transfers, complex data sharing agreements and ensuring that data protection compliance requirements are passed through supply chains, as well as providing advice on personal data breaches and data subject rights.
