STILL TIME TO NOMINATE THE DIGITAL ENTERPRISE TOP 100 BUSINESSES

Nominations are still open to identify and celebrate the Leeds City Region’s most digitally transformational, resilient and innovative businesses. The organisers of the Digital Enterprise TOP 100 are urging businesses to get their nominations completed by 4 December 2020.

Businesses are invited to nominate themselves or other businesses for the Digital Enterprise TOP 100, with businesses in Leeds, Bradford, York, Harrogate, Calderdale, Kirklees, Wakefield, Selby and Craven being eligible. Simply visit the DE100.co.uk website to complete a nomination.

The judges will be looking out for businesses that have demonstrated digital innovation, resilience and transformation to take them further. Some examples of businesses that the organisers and judges want to hear from and celebrate are:

· Businesses that have transformed their current digital infrastructure to increase productivity and competitiveness

· Businesses that have used digital technology to support continuity during the COVID-19 pandemic

· Businesses that have successfully generated business overseas by growing in current markets and/or entering new markets

· Innovative businesses that have invested in the research and development of novel digital technology solutions.

Successful nominations will be profiled in the TOP 100 Report, which provides extensive coverage for the leading 100 businesses as it is distributed across the region and nationally – read the 2019 report.

Additionally, the new members of the TOP 100 will be invited to the celebration event, scheduled for February 2021. The event will be taking place virtually with guests able to meet with campaign partners, policymakers and fellow members of the TOP 100, hear from special guest speakers and receive the coveted TOP 100 celebration box.

A new feature of the campaign is the TOP 100 Club. A jewel in the campaign’s crown, members will receive invitations throughout the year to exclusive networking events with inspirational speakers, gain access to rewards provided by campaign partners and create a profile on the members forum. The forum is an online platform for members to share business opportunities, news stories and ideas.

Muz Mumtaz, Head of Digital Enterprise, said: “This year has been unprecedented in terms of the number of businesses increasing their digital activity because of the COVID-19 pandemic. We are excited to celebrate and cast a shining light on the inspirational stories of how digital technology has increased productivity, created new revenue streams and supported business growth despite these uncertain times.”

Rory Bourke, UMi Marketing and Event Manager, added: “The TOP 100 campaign recognises business at different stages of their digital journey, whether they are pioneers leading the way internationally, or businesses that have invested in new technology and digital skills. We’re looking forward to building on the success of the first year and to grow the TOP 100 network.”

Digital Enterprise TOP 100 is produced by UMi in partnership with Digital Enterprise. Nominations are open until Friday 4 December, to enter your business or nominate another visit www.DE100.co.uk
