THREE GREAT WEBSITE DESIGN EXAMPLES TO INSPIRE

Updated: Sep 30, 2020

When you’re creating a new website, or updating an existing one, it can be helpful to know “what good looks like”. We asked director of Green Gecko Digital, Marco Sarussi, to share three of his current favourite websites with us to help inspire you.

Marco has selected two websites developed by the Green Gecko Digital team, FL Solicitors and Lemon Lettings, as well as the revamped RNIB website.

FL Solicitors

“We recently launched phase one of FL Solicitors’ website and phase two will be rolled out soon”, Marco enthuses.

Specialising in construction and engineering law, Marco says that despite being a micro business, FL Solicitors have been early adopters of automation and are leading the way for others.

"Clients will be able to pay, top up a retainer, upload documents and book appointments with their solicitor through the website”, Marco says.

Lemon Lettings & Sales

Lemon Lettings & Sales is a revamp that was launched in early 2019. It’s extremely quick and they can load all the properties into the website themselves. This was important to them because they wanted to drive direct traffic to their website and feature properties themselves, rather than through a property listing intermediary”, Marco says.

The site features filtering options, giving users an easy way of displaying properties to match their requirements.

The company have also implemented a live chat function, which allows customers to chat with an agent in a way they may feel more comfortable with.

A feedback tool gives tenants and agents the ability to tell Lemon Lettings about any problems they may be experiencing.

“The company also employed a copywriter to have their website copy written professionally, which has boosted its search engine visibility and it is receiving a good click-through rate”, Marco says.

RNIB

Having recently rebranded, RNIB have also revamped their website and Marco highlights this as an interesting example of website design.

“The design is clean and simple, for maximum visual clarity, as well as prominently showing website users the difficulties that someone with cataracts may have in viewing websites”, Marco says.

Marco Sarussi is director of Green Gecko Digital in Yorkshire, the one-stop digital company that specialises in web design, pay per click and social media management.
